MGM LINES started its activity in 1979 as tramp operator for project cargo destined to West Africa.
In 1983 having achieved good results in service and quality the line started regular sailings with modern general cargo Vessels with one monthly sailing from Mediterranean Ports to Nigeria.
In 1991 the service was extended to other West Africa Countries like Ghana, Gabon and Angola.
In the past two years MGM Lines has offered a complete shipping service from Italy to the Caspian Sea via the Black Sea, working for companies in the oil fields of Caspian Sea and other Central Asian countries.
The success of the line can be ascribed to the type of the services rendered to clients, granting them regular sailings, very fast delivery without any intermediate trans-shipments and door services at destination, when required.
MGM LINES utilise modern box shaped Vessels permitting easy stowage and lifting of more than 400 tons.
